Share Draft Accounts (Regular Checking, Emerald Club)
You are required to open a savings to have a checking. We have two different types of checking:
- Our regular checking requires no minimum balance and has no monthly service fee.
- The Emerald Club - Special checking for those 55 and older
~ Benefits of belonging to the Emerald Club:
- 1 box of free checks in a 12 month period
- OVERDRAFTS: If you become overdrawn in your checking and you have enough available in your savings to cover the overdraft, you are able to have the funds transfer automatically; there is a charge of $1.00 for each occurrence. To elect this service, we need your signature on our overdraft protection form to set it up. Otherwise, there will be a $25.00 overdraft charge for each check and the check(s) will be returned.
